“ Barbra was wonderful. My boyfriend and I arrived in the evening. She was an older woman, who was listening to the 40s music on her radio. Very chill vibe, very old school, and she was a sweetheart. The pizzas were phenomenal and definitely a hidden gem. Personally I think people going in there should have an open heart and mind regardless if she may seem "rude". Just don't take it personally, go for the basics, and something traditional. You will be happy. And we will be returning. ”
“ This is the best pizza in town by far. Coming from Philly/North Jersey, this is probably the second best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s no frills, so if you have special orders just go somewhere else because the owner will not bother taking your long complicated order for your special diet or preferences. If you want to order 5 different sandwiches with 5 different topping combos, you will be hung up on rightfully so. Notice how all the 1 star reviews are from people who didn’t even get food . Also, she runs the place by herself essentially so be patient and you’ll be enjoying great pizza. ”
“ Barbara was so sweet. We are vacationing from Rhode Island, I’ve been coming to NH my whole life but have yet to stop at this little pizza shop. She made conversation with us and turns out she is from the area we live! Please be patient with this lady, she is older and doing her best all by herself. She takes your orders, makes your food, and cashes you out. I am assuming she doesn’t see too many people all day (especially early summer season before vacationers come since this is a high tourist area with all motels) so she just wants some conversation. If you want to be in and out or have no patience maybe skip this one but her food is super yummy and the inside is clean. Just have some patience I’ll add- she just opened back up after being closed for 8 weeks so she is still trying to get everything up and running but it was delicious! Thank you Barbara keep it up! Also- for the person who left a review about a service dog. While I understand your frustration because service dogs are allowed everywhere you are- if the owner has an allergy you cannot expect her to make an exception to your disability and you completely disregard her condition as well. This is what happens with family owned businesses/places, they can run a tight ship and it’s not discriminatory if she has an allergy to dogs and doesn’t want a dog & dog fur in her food establishment. Please do not use a disability as a weapon and bash a small shop, that isn’t fair either. ”
“ Well....THE most interesting restaurant I've ever been to, without a doubt. While the owner was definitely rough around the edges, you must consider that she's elderly and doing the job of several people all by herself. That said, food was great. If you're looking for a quick meal, this isn't it. If you have patience and compassion, I suggest checking the quaint little place out. At minimum, you'll leave with a story ”
“ 4 of us stopped while driving by for a pizza. It's ran by 1 lady named Barbara, she does it all from serving to cooking. The menu is smaller because it this, but the pizza was great! She was very friendly towards us and made nice conversation, we all enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend! ”

My husband went to pick up our order and had a nice conversation with Barbara, who is managing the place on her own. She is lovely lady who is hard working. “ Atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. After a long afternoon of hiking we wanted a quick meal before the drive back and this place did not disappoint. The woman running the restaurant (didn’t catch her name and that’s on me) was very friendly and personable. 55 for four subs, four drinks and nice seats above the river. Best meatballs i’ve had in years and ample parking. I’d eat there again. ”
